Pedal4Health offers fun, safe cycling tuition with an emphasis on health and fitness for children and adults.

This will include instruction, motivation, road safety and organised cycling activities primarily for children but welcoming teenagers and adults.

We are particuarly keen to help children who have problems with weight control and who could benefit by taking up cycling.

Who are we?
We're two professionals with many years experience of working with children.

Fred has been a qualified cycling instructor since 2003 and has taught hundreds of children how to cycle safely. Fred has the new Bikeability accreditation and is also a healthy walks leader for Epsom Council.

Anne is also a National Standard cycling instructor and a registered children's nurse(RSCN).

Fred and Anne have enhanced criminal records bureau clearance. Fred has full public indemnity insurance of £10m.

We have received funding from Transport for London to launch Pedal4health. Fred and Anne thank TFL and the London Cycling Campaign for giving us the chance to offer this innovative and important project to communities within London.

News-The Balham and Tooting Show 2008 We're excited to announce that we have been invited to this year's Balham and Tooting show which will take place on Sunday 6th July on Tooting Bec Common from 12-6pm.We will be giving advice on the health benefits of cycling, Bikeability training and handing out free cycling maps of the area. For younger children we will be running a cycling themed art workshop provided by Tooting resident and local artist Heather Shepherd(WWW.ARTCYCLE.CO.UK).

Cycling is a fun way to keep off weight. Just one hour's cycling burns off 300 calories!
